But if you ask Harry Potter fans, the most famous twins in the world would be the Weasley Brothers, also known as James and Oliver Phelps.

The 36-year-olds will appear this weekend at the Supanova Comic Con & Gaming convention, which will be held in two days at the Perth Convention Center.

The duo is no stranger to Perth or our beautiful state, with Oliver proposing to his partner in Esperance, also saying he can’t wait to own a Little Creatures “cleaner”. His brother James has other “nerdy” plans in mind.

“During the lockdown, I got into staring at the sky, so I’d like to go to one of the dark sky areas out there…all the stars on this side of the world are different from the UK, so (I want to) see all the different constellations look like this and I’ve heard that WA has some of the best places in the world to view them,” James told AAA.

The twins and many of the Harry Potter stars said the reunion special, which aired at the start of the year, has rekindled fans’ passion for the beloved franchise.

‘To be honest, it’s always been very popular. And I think the reunion on TV may have brought it back into people’s minds, but it’s still very popular and something we’re still very proud to be a part of,” Oliver added. To.

The Supanova Festival this year marks the 20th anniversary of the fan convention that focuses on science fiction and fantasy film and TV, comic books, anime, gaming, and collectibles.

The Phelps will be joined by the likes of Smallville stars Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum, Lost actor Emilie de Ravin, and acclaimed voice actor Veronica Taylor, whose credits include Pokemon and Sailor Moon.

In addition to an action-packed weekend of question-and-answer panels, photo ops, and autographs, cardholders can enjoy a variety of great activations presented by Marvel, Disney, and Pixar, cosplay, and community panels.

The best advice from the Phelps twins for fans who want to grab their attention and be the most memorable is to have real conversations with them.

“We’ve always loved just chatting with people, and we’re always happy if anyone ever has any questions about how we filmed Quidditch or anything; we’re more than happy to explain,” James said.

“It makes it much easier for us to meet people who also interact with us. Where it’s not just yes or no answers, but to be honest, that’s what we found it’s not the Australian way after all, people are very outgoing,” Oliver added.

Tickets for Supanova are still available online.
