La Maison is set to operate from 7 am to 10 pm.

Fatemzahra Aroussi said they would also offer homemade salads and fresh juices for lunch.

“My sister and I lived in Paris for 20 years, and we went to tea houses all over Europe,” she said.

“When we come to Australia, we notice that you have to order and pay, and then you can be served.

The owners said they had received an overwhelmingly positive response from people on the street.

“It’s exciting to hear this from people, and gives us confidence.”
