Further details about Britney Spears’ lavish marriage to Sam Asghari have surfaced, including Paris Hilton’s decision to decline an invitation from the White House so she could attend and the imitation of an iconic kiss.
The 41-year-old heiress revealed on her podcast This Is Paris that she had been asked to perform at Joe Biden’s Summit of the Americas in Los Angeles but turned down to attend the expected nuptials.

“I asked DJ for the president and all the other presidents from around the world for dinner, but this was more important to me,” the fashion icon said.
Hilton, whose friendship with the singer dates back to the early 2000s, kept intimate details of the star-studded party because she believes it was “the night of the princess bride, and that’s her story to tell”“.
“I kept it a top secret all week. I didn’t tell anyone, not even the people I asked to have dresses shipped,” she explains.
“But all I can say is that I’m incredibly happy for her. She looked beautiful, and I’m just – it made me glad to see she’d found her fairy tale, and they’re a lovely couple and glow.
“It warmed my heart to see her so happy and free.”

The Simple Life star was among other A-Listers in attendance, including Donatella Versace – who designed Spears’ dress, Drew Barrymore, Selena Gomez, and many more.
Spears and Madonna took us back to 2003 after a pashing at the star-studded wedding of the first to Asghari in Los Angeles.

Spears and Asghari were married at her home in Thousand Oaks before about 60 guests, and Spears, 40, is said to have walked down the aisle to Elvis Presley’s hit Can’t Help Falling in Love.
“I am cstecstaticat this day has come, and they are married. I know he’s wanted this for so long. He is so caring and supportive every step of the way,” Asghar i’s manager, Brandon Cohen, told PEOPLE after the ceremony.
“I am so grateful to have Sam in my life and can’t wait for the future they will build together.”
